NEW ZEALAND DRAWS FIRST BLOOD AGAINST THE WEST INDIES IN THE OPENING T20 AT EDEN PARK

Defending world t20 champions got the bitter end of the stick in first of the three match t20 series in New Zealand.

The windies men after being send in to bat, the opening pair of Brandon King Andrea Flecther who tee off from the very first ball , with Fletcher 34 and King’s 13 , Guyanaese Shrimon Hetymer went for Duck, while skipper Pollard knock a marvelous 75 with Allen putting the finishing touch with a 30 runs stint. To garner the Caribbean side to 180 for 7 off their 16 overs because of the two rain stoppages.

New Zealander Lockie Furegonson was the man of the hour with the ball picking as he picked five wicket haul with Tim Southee taking two scalps.

New Zealand in reply held their nerves as they where four down with just 63 runs with just 39 ball being bowled.
But it was Devon Conway’s 41 and James Neesham 48 from 23 that help pull the Kiwis closer for the win, with four balls left.
