Guyanese athletes could possibly return to the track for competitive meets. This is according to President of the Guyana Athletics Association Aubrey Hudson during an exclusive interview with The Guyana Ledger.“Realising that even we try to do competition locally to what end and what are trying to achieved by doing this”. Hudson said.
Huston explained that the new season will begin on November 1, with a cross country meet. According to Hudson, this will give the Association a longer time to prepare for the new season.
While not disregarding COVID-19 guidelines the Athletics Boss said in terms of crowds, it will be up to the Government of Guyana to decide weather they can do it with or without fans.
