The man who is reportedly responsible for the murder of an Albouystown mother of three was on Tuesday night caught by the police just hours after he escaped from the scene of the crime.
Police say acting upon information it received, intercepted the suspect in Albouystown
The suspect was arrested at James Street, Albouystown at around 18:35hrs.
The man reportedly chopped his wife, 28 year=old Clarabel Johnson, at their 142 Cooper Street home following a “misunderstanding”. The man was reportedly issued with a restraining order of which he failed to honour.
Enquiries disclosed that Johnson was chopped on her right foot behind her knee with a cutlass.
