OVER 100 WITNESSES TO TESTIFY AGAINST MINGO – PROSECUTION
On Friday morning, Former Returning Officer Clairmont Mingo made another appearance before the Chief Magistrate Ann Mclennan. The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions made disclosure of statements.
The prosecution made an application for summary disposal. This allows Mingo to plea to the charges.
Representing the interest of Mingo, Attorney at Law Nigel Hughes objected. He enquired from the prosecution whether or not there are more charges to be instituted on his client.
The prosecution disclosed that the file is so far incomplete. He indicated that so far he has over 100 witnesses to testify. The matter was adjourned to December 15.
