In the national assembly, during the just concluded budget debates, Minister of Home Affairs Robeson Benn affirmed that despite the hurdle’s detectives faced in the investigation; those responsible will be brought to justice.

“I want to assure the members of this honorable house, and all Guyanese, that the justice which is required, and must be given in relation to the vile murders of the Henry Boys,” Benn stated.

This week a team of 75 ranks including investigators from the Criminal Investigations Department and Major Crimes Unit conducted a come through of the Cotton Tree Backdam where the teens were found.

The search was also supported by aerial support from the Guyana Defense Force. After hours of combing detectives found nothing of evidential value was found.

The minister also alluded to the attacks and damage to property which unfolded during days of protest action along with West Coast of Berbice.

Benn stated, “The persons who were beaten and robbed, those who suffered property damage. That there will be justice related to any of those things. Justice for All.”
