SPEAKER WARNS HOUSE ABOUT DEGRADING SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

The speaker, on the fourth day of the Budget debates, expressed disappointment about a post made by a Member of Parliament in relations yesterday’s Food poisoning incident.

The post has however not been removed.

The speaker then noted that the actions of the MP is a serious offence, and “while we do exercise fairness, patients and impartiality we have to be guided by the rules that exits, I am also guided by one of the most respected clerks in the commonwealth supported by parliamentary staff who I personally know have been servicing Parliament and the people for decades.”
