EX-LOVER REMANDED FOR MURDER
Forty two year-old Nandran Persaud, a truck driver of Golden Fleece, Essequibo Coast, appeared at the Anna Regina Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge of murder committed against his ex-girlfriend 24-year-old Lunisa Peters.
He was not required to plea to the indictable charge. He was remanded to prison until September 25 at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court.
The case of the policy is that accused allegedly visited the aunt of the deceased’s house and was invited inside. It was noted that he and Peters were sitting in a chair when her phone rang and she answered.
The suspect reportedly heard a male’s voice on the other end of the call and became annoyed. He reportedly snatched her hair and dragged her into the kitchen where he grabbed a knife, took her to the bathroom and dealt her several stab wounds.
