On Friday last around 21:15 at the Parika Stelling some 16,000 gallon of fuel where seized from two Vessels which were discovered by the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA).
Vessel #1 was captained by a fifty-six (56) year old of Metem-Meer-Zorg W.C.D while Vessel #2 was captained by a Forty four 44) year old an resident of Greenwich Park. E.B.E At the time of the search and seizure vessel one had a three man crew comprising of a fifty five ( 55) year old of Good Success Wakenaam , a fifty four (54) year old of Orenstain E.B.E and a twenty (20) year old of Metem-Meer-Zorg W.C.D.
The five (5) persons are presently in custody assisting with the investigation.
