Warriors have now qualified for the semi-finals after defeating the St Lucia Zuck’s who have already cemented them self as well for this first ever in CPL semis.
Zouk’s who played well all season long weren’t up for the task with the warriors who seem know to be getting their footing into the tournament after back to back wins. Zouk’s. where restricted to just 109 runs, with was all thanks to the bowling attack that the warriors, with Kevin Sinclair who one against show casing his talent and grabbed the first wicket of big hitter Andre Fletcher for 1.
Naveen-ul-Haq then got into the action as well the next over and the zouk’s were two down for 15 runs Rahkeem Cornwall stayed around for a while for his 21 for 13 balls while the middle and lower order didn’t impress with the bat just scoring small double digits scores, Glen adding 22 for 22 to get the Zouk’s over the 100 line mark.
Naveen-ul-Haq finish with 2 wickets along with Paul 2, as Sinclair, Tahir and Shepherd shared one wicket each.
Warriors approached the innings like they always do, But Brandon King who steer the Jaguars to their last win failed at the top with just five runs. Hemraj took patients to build his 26 runs from 25 balls.
Shimron Hetmyer who started the season with back to back half centuries found his riddim again with brilliant knock 56 from 36 which included 6 fours and 3 sixes to help warriors over the line and cemented semi final spot in the eight edition of the Caribbean Premier League.
