The trio accused of the vicious murder of the 23-year-old Canadian Nicholas Jaipaul were all remanded to prison on Friday when they were arraigned before Magistrate Alex Moore at the Georgetown Magistrates Court.
Jaipaull’s burnt remains were found in a clump of bushes at Moleson Creek Public Road,
Charran Shedhan, Aszim Shivgobin and Monisar Beharry were not required to plea to the indicatable charge.
It is alleged that between August 16 and 20, at Moleson Creek they murdered Jaipaul.
The trio were remanded to prison until October 15, 2020. The matter was transferred to the Springlands Magistrate’s Court.
